The Million Dollar Staircase - New York State State Capitol
RC 7 was there at the Capital in ALBANY with about 2000 of our colleagues and friends from labor to tell the governor his anti Union anti Teacher budget proposals are wrong for student and wrong for public education. President Karen Magee and the NYSUT officers were joined by Mario Cilento, President of the New York State AFL/CIO and Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan, chair of the Education Committee who encouraged us all to keep up the pressure, exersize our voices and know we are not alone in the fight for fair funding for our schools, fair evaluations for our teachers and a strong public education systems for the state's children.
Thank You NYSUT Retirees
